SCHOLARSHIPS

The ISEE Western Canada Chapter is pleased to offer two scholarships, which are awarded on a yearly basis. The Society of Explosive Engineers Education Foundation also has scholarships available to students in the drilling and blasting industry.

Dick Shaw

Dick Shaw was a well-respected inspector for Worksafe BC, who was a tireless advocate for blasting safety. The scholarship will be awarded to a full-time post-secondary student in Canada who's study relates to explosives or blasting. For example, mining, civil or chemical engineering, geology, seismic exploration, avalanche control or blasting physics.

This scholarship will be awarded to any full-time post secondary student who is a direct relative of a member-in-good-standing of our chapter. Studies may be in any field.
