Board of Directors Meeting

This is to advise you that the next meeting of the Board of Directors for the ISEE Western Canada Chapter will be held at 5:15pm on Thursday, January 19th, 2012 at Pacific Blasting's office in Burnaby, BC.

 

Some important items to be discussed include:

 

Scholarship Plan

  • Will we offer them again
  • Will the amount stay the same
  • Will any corporate members contribute
  • Is there a possibility of Suncor endowing the Pat McLaughlin
  • Should the formats and requirements remain the same
  • Should we stay independent or join with the parent ISEE

Annual General Meeting

  • Applications for membership without attending the agm
  • Registration forms on website
  • Costs, expenses, courses offered
  • Papers, guest speaker

New Business

  • Updated contact list of members on website etc
  • Update on blasting as a certified trade
  • Committee update on blasting standards and safety in urban areas
  • Our site needs: Action pics, trade news, regulatory links
